Tom and Renee Grossman are from the Dallas area and have been involved in ministry over the past 15 years.  Tom worked for the Catholic Pro-life Committee as the Director of Prayer, directed Campus and Young Adult Ministry at Mary Immaculate Church in Farmers Branch, and served as the Director of Evangelization for Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano Texas.

During their time in Dallas, Tom and Renee started Communities of Prayer, a non-profit aimed at directing hearts toward a deeper prayer life through retreats, small group, and prayer resources.  Tom was invited in 2015 to share his testimony on EWTN's The Journey Home. His talks have also been featured on Shalom TV.

In 2017, after much prayer and consideration, the Grossman family sold their house of 12 years where they had been raising their 5 children:  Zion, Clare, Stella, Blaise, and Genevieve to open a family retreat center.   The Lord has provided multiple locations to see this plan come together.  Communities of Prayer is available to serve your parish, family, or staff.

This ministry is one of the most clear and authentic voices in our diocese to challenge people to a deeper relationship with the Lord through an encounter with him in the Scriptures.  Even more than the challenge, Communities of Prayer offers the resources and support to equip people for an ongoing journey of intimacy with our Lord.  I can’t recommend Tom and this ministry enough!
